Stress is a major cause of sickness absence. More than 6.5 million working days are lost each year in the UK from work-related mental ill health or “stress”. Our Occupational Health Physician can advise you on stress management including implementation of prevention strategies. We can also advise you on specific cases of acute or chronic stress/depression. We believe early referral to Occupational Health is particularly valuable in such cases. As part of our stress management consultancy, we will ensure that you can be confident of how to manage stress in the workplace.
